Gateway computers used to be one of the worst computers in the world. When, they first started coming out, people would have problems all over the place. I would say that I hate Dell computers and I would mean it. I have had 3 Dell computers within the last 3 years and they have all died on me. One of them was a laptop where the battery would not last longer than 5 minutes. Another was a problem with the processor; I could not reinstall Windows no matter what I tried. The final straw was the last laptop I had with Dell. It would require a reformat of the system every 2 days. That was just ridiculous. I switched over to Toshiba and have found that it is much easier to manage.
