Compaq Computers Scheduled to Reappear in Germany.

Compaq computers once were a common sight on store shelves for German computer purchasers. Compaq which typically charged a little bit more for their computers did have a small presence in Germany, prior to HP purchasing Compaq.

HP has decided to reintroduce the Compaq computers back into the German market. The primary reason it for more market share and more competition for Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC). Fujitsu Siemens Computers currently has more market share within the German market, to which HP is currently number two. HP is hoping that the Compaq computers will become the down market brand, further increasing competition with Fijitsu Siemens Computers and thus increasing their market share and become number one in the German market.
